Golden Cañedo released her first original single 'TAYO PA RIN' under GMA Music
Golden Cañedo , a native of Minglanilla, Cebu was the first ever grand champion of "The Clash", a singing competition at GMA Network. Golden bested 61 other contestants and some are not just amateurs when it comes to singing. “The Clash” was hosted by Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez. Judges in the competition were Christian Bautista, Lani Misalucha, and Ai-Ai delas Alas. The Grade 10 student still pursues her studies even though she has been very busy ever since she won The Clash. She is now under GMA Artist Center and aside from doing several shows, she is also part of the top rating musical show STUDIO 7. Just last month, Golden received the Most Promising Female Singing Performer Award from National Customer's Choice Annual Awards 2019. Aside from this, Golden was tapped to be the voice behind Magpakailanman's theme song which was previously sung by Kyla.
