HELLBOY: David Harbour stars as the demonic hero ready to save the world
The long wait is over! The latest Hellboy film is here after almost 11 years. The first HELLBOY movie was released in 2004 loosely based on the Dark Horse Comics graphic novel Hellboy: Seed of Destruction by Mike Mignola. The sequel was later on released in 2008 entitled Hellboy II: The Golden Army, both films were directed by no less than Guillermo del Toro. Fast forward to 2019, “Hellboy”, the legendary half-demon superhero is back this April, this is not a continuation of the first two sequels of Hellboy though. Instead, this movie reboot has a darker tone, much more grounded in horror (Rated R in America), and is composed of a new cast and a new creative team that includes Mike Mignola, the creator of the “Hellboy” comic books, acting as a co-executive producer.
